L'antica sapienza del Veda was the title of the lecture given by Stefano Piano (University of Turin) in the framework of the meeting organized in Udine on 26 Novembrer 1999 by the Società Indologica "Luigi Pio Tessitori", in collaboration with the Forum di Aquileia. The lecture was given at Palazzo Belgrado, the seat of the Provincial Authority of Udine. After addresses of welcome by Paolo Maurensig, councillor of the Municipal Authority of Udine, and Fausto Freschi, president of the Società Indologica "Luigi Pio Tessitori", Stefano Piano explored the religious and philosophical world of the Vedas.
At the end, the video Ramanavami directed by Benedetto Parisi (Società Indologica "Luigi Pio Tessitori") was presented.
