On 20 November 2009 in the conference hall of the Fondazione CRUP, Via Manin 15, Udine, the meeting Dr. L.P. Tessitori (1887-1919) was held. The meeting was promoted by the Società Indologica, with the patronage of the Regional Authority of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Provincial and Municipal Authorites of Udine, the University of Udine and the Fondazione CRUP.
The one-day programme included papers by the following scholars: Nalini Balbir (Université de Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle), Giuliano Boccali (University of Milan), Donatella Dolcini (University of Milan), Gianfranco Fiaccadori (University of Milan), Fausto Freschi («Luigi Pio Tessitori»), Giorgio Giacometti («Luigi Pio Tessitori»), Alessandro Passi (University of Bologna), Cinzia Pieruccini (University of Milan), Elena Preda (University of Bologna).
At the end of the meeting the volume Devī-Māhātmya. MS. 4510 of the «Vincenzo Joppi» Municipal Library in Udine was officially presented.
