PublicationsThe Società Indologica has for many years been engaged in publishing the collected works of the great Friulian indologist in its Bibliotheca Indica imprint. The series comprises three different sections. The first section, entitled Opera omnia di Luigi Pio Tessitori, includes seven volumes: Opere giovanili, Studi giainici, Rāmacaritamānasa e Rāmāyaṇa, Scritti linguistici, Poemi bardici, Bardic and Historical Survey of Rajputana and Lettere e Diario. The second section, called Monumenta, consists of five volumes: Devī-Māhātmya. MS 4510 of the «Vincenzo Joppi» Municipal Library in Udine; The Peano Archive at Reana del Rojale; Luigi Pio Tessitori’s Peano Archive; The Indian manuscripts of the «Vincenzo Joppi» Municipal Library in Udine; The Terracotas of the Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum in Bikaner. In the last section, Testi e studi, the proceedings of international conference Tessitori and Rajasthan, have been published. The Bibliotheca Indica scholarly committee comprises: Nalini Balbir, Giuliano Boccali, Carlo Della Casa, Gianfranco Fiaccadori, Furio Honsell, Stefano Piano and John D. Smith. The series is edited by Fausto Freschi. |
